I'm Ben Rodriguez, the president of the Geology and Environmental Science Club. I'm a senior majoring in Earth and Planetary Sciences. My undergraduate research explores the river incision history of the Jemez River using argon geochronology of detrital sanidine grains.
Vice President: Elizabeth Chou
My name is Elizabeth Chou and I am the Vice President of the Geology and Environmental Science Club! I’m a senior majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Sustainability Studies. My research focuses on food waste prevention and diversion efforts in ABQ, and I like to rock hunt in my free time!
Treasurer: Jennifer Patterson
I'm Jennifer Patterson, an Environmental Science and Political Science major with a minor in Economics, currently holding the position of Treasurer in the Geology and Environmental Science Club. My research focuses on investigating the fate of atmospheric contaminants and heavy metals at the Legacy Jackpile Mine Site. In my free time I like to travel New Mexico and hike.

My name is Sophia Henry and I’m the Secretary of the Geology and Earth Science Club at The University of New Mexico. I am currently working on my bachelor’s of English!
Historian: Elias Draven
My name is Elias Draven. I'm an Earth and Planetary Sciences major with two minors in Biology and Geography. I'm the Historian for the club. I love how the Earth works and am glad to make a career out of it.
Outreach and Education: Kayla Bottinelli
Howdy! I'm Kayla Bottinelli. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Earth and Planetary Science with a minor in theatre. I am the outreach and education officer of GESC and I'm extremely passionate about education and connecting undergraduates to research. I believe every student of any major can benefit from exposure to our amazing department and Earth sciences. Beyond geology, I also love to sew and I bowl in a few leagues.
